Project Updates
Current Projects
216 Ramp
The completion status is not currently known. There are areas that seem incomplete, or in need of touch-up but no news about this currently.
216 Siding
The siding is still visibly moving along and it looks like 218 is about to start their siding. No official update has been sent out recently but a lot of the new siding on the East side looks visibly complete and some balcony's are being put back - you can see the new spindles now!
216/218 Door FOB's?!
There is still no confirmation on what the new electronic pads are by some doors. They look like a FOB entry system and seem to be powered up (they have a blue LED glow).

Power-Outage - Flashlight, Powerbank, and UPS/Modem Battery
With the recent power outage, here are some things that you may want on-hand to help be ready.
- A flashlight: This is a must as it can get pretty dark. The hallways do have emergency lighting but they only help so much and only last so long. Make sure you check the flashlight every-so-often to ensure it still works for when you need it.
- A powerbank: This will allow you to charge your phone and other small USB powered electronics. In a power outage, this is a must these days.
- A UPS/Modem Battery: A UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is useful to power some bigger electronics in an outage. But the main reason it is mentioned because it can power your modem/router giving you internet for several hours in an outage. Some internet providers offer a battery option for their equipment now - so check that out and see if you have one!
Check out Hydro Ottawa's power outage preparedness site for additional tips and resources such as building an emergency power outage kit: https://hydroottawa.com/en/residential/outages-safety/outage-preparedness.
Lastly, when the power goes out the hallway doors will close and you can still use them.
Community Spotlight
A shoutout to the landscapers and gardeners! The landscaping is much better this year and the grass looks healthier. The gardens also have been looking really good and the addition of mulch to some areas really makes the gardens pop!
