Spotlighting Our Grounds and The Hard Work People Put In

Welcome Warm Weather And Pretty Views

Welcome Warm Weather And Pretty Views

Let's take a moment to enjoy the wonderful work on our flower beds and the blooming flowers. This is such a great time of the year!

Last months driveway sweeping also helped clean-up the driveway and lawns well.

Thank you to everyone who puts in the effort to keep the grounds looking great!

A Huge Thank-You To You, The Community

The community has been so great supporting each-other and we wanted to give a big thank-you to everyone!

Together, over 50lbs of trash has been cleaned-up in our community and people have built a sense of community helping each other out.

Thank you all!

Key Fobs or New Accessibility Buttons For 216/218?!

Have you noticed the recent work by some of the doors at 216 and 218? A newly mounted blank box near the outside ramp at 216 points to an exciting upgrade: we might be getting new key fob readers or accessibility buttons!

The Status: We are awaiting official confirmation and will provide updates as soon as we know more.

The Impact: Either option will be a huge win for mobility and making the doors much easier to open.

Stay tuned for more details!

Where are all the events?

We know it has been a busy time of year, which means our event schedule has been a little quiet lately. However, with the warmer weather finally arriving, get ready for the return of outdoor Yoga and more organized get-togethers (just like our awesome meetup at Tailgators!).

  • Host Your Own: Did you know that any resident can plan an event? Several neighbors already have! If you have a fun idea, pitch it on our Facebook page and let’s get together.

  • Up Next: Keep an eye out as our next "bigger" outing will likely be a trip to Merivale Mini-Golf Gardens! More details are coming soon.

216 Siding Project Update and New Window Limiter

🚧 216 Siding Project Update

🚧 216 Siding Project Update

The exterior work at 216 is plugging along on the East side! A lot of the old siding is currently being replaced. On the far left, the new siding itself is up, though the overall work in that section isn't completely finished yet. It’s a massive job that also involves new windows, deck removals, and some interior work.

The New Windows We are being told that the replacement windows have safety limiters restricting how far they open due to building codes. However, it isn't entirely clear exactly what the code entails or what all of our options are. This is causing a few headaches:

  • AC Units: Finding an AC that fits the smaller gap is proving tough. This likely means we will need to see some changing of the rules down the line to accommodate these new restrictions. We are also unsure what this means for people with existing AC's that no longer fit the new window restriction.
  • The Rules: Management’s current direction is that the window limiters cannot be removed.
  • Cleaning & Heat: Cleaning the outside glass will be tricky, if not unreasonable, and we share the concerns about summer heat for higher floors. If anyone has any updates or finds a good workaround, please send them in so we can keep this current!

(Note: If your unit hasn't been upgraded yet, you can still open your windows all the way and use your regular AC!)

What to Expect Next We don’t have an ETA for finishing the east side yet. In the meantime, the protective elevator pads, construction crews, and extra debris seem to be sticking around.
